Up Close - Part 4
Up close, the rip made even less sense. It was like the air itself had been torn apart and somewhere else was leaking through. It was about as long as her arm, as wide as her stretched fingers, and floated at about chest level. Persephone felt the heat of the blue twirly sparks that fizzed and jumped from the edges and bending closer could just make out vague shapes on the other side.
Suddenly, the rip tore wide open and a gust of wind tumbled Persephone through.
